Inspired by our new group icon by our previous contest winner r0se-designs we have decided to set up a new group contest.

You can see the results of the Group Logo contest, which concluded recently, here:

The new contest, as the title suggests, will be for artworks inspired by the hand fan and blossom which are synonymous with many of the Oriental cultures - and which has inspired our new group logo.

The artworks or literature works that you would like to submit can feature the fan and the blossom in anyway imaginable. You can simply depict a flower and a hand fan lying on a table, write a poem about a fan decorated with pictures of flowers, photograph a lady with a flower and a fan or even write a steam punk short story where the characters are named Fan and Blossom and do not actually depict the objects themselves. Basically it is all up to your brilliant imagination, with the only rule being that the submissions agree with the group submission rules and is inspired by the contest title and the Orient.

CONTEST RULES
1. You have to be a member of Oriental-Fantasy
2. All Entries Must be submitted to the correct group contest folder, otherwise they may go unnoticed
3. The logo must depict the groups oriental heritage in some way
4. No limit on the number of entries (you can go wild)
5. Group Founders/Co-Founders are not allowed to enter the contest, if they do they can not be rewarded for their submission.
6. Entries will be open until 15th August 2013
7. The Top Ten will be announced within a week after the contest deadline
8. The Winner and Runner-Ups will be selected by the group administrators and in a way they deem appropriate for the contest.
9. All mediums and styles are acceptable, including all digital, traditional, all craft, literary and photographic styles and all themes and styles including Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Steam-Punk, Orientalist, Realism and any other styles and themes not mentioned.
10. Be CREATIVE!!!

All the winners and runners up will be featured in the group Blog and be entitled to the following prizes:

I am not sure whether any of you would be interested in entering a contest but there are some pretty decent rewards on this one by the Oriental-Fantasy group, for creating their new group logo:

It has been nearly 10-months since the group has been set-up and we now have over 125 members!

BUT - ever since the group has been launched we have been stuck with the same bland group logo/avatar...

The idea of the contest is simple come up with a new group logo for Oriental-Fantasy

CONTEST RULES :
1. You have to be a member of Oriental-Fantasy
2. All Entries Must be submitted to the group contest folder, otherwise they may go unnoticed
3. The logo must depict the groups oriental heritage in some way (including the name in the logo can full fill this criteria)
